Nokia Ovi Maps Campaign by These Days
Nokia's new navigation optimized phones include Ovi Maps with free voice-guided turn-by-turn navigation. Communications agency These Days devised a promotion campaign for the Netherlands, allowing people to do a virtual audition for car navigator.
Contestants can either do their audition online or seated in the Nokia Navigation Truck, which is currently touring the country. The winner will be crowned the Voice of the Netherlands and will get the opportunity to become the real navigation voice for millions of Dutch drivers.
These Days are using Rambla's transcoding service to encode and publish the contestant video's and thumbnails, as well as a custom Wowza application to record the online auditions. And, to make sure everything runs smoothly, all campaign multimedia is being delivered from our CDN.
