New Control Panel launched

We are glad to announce that today, after months of development and testing, we've rolled out a major upgrade for the Rambla platform. This includes a revamped Control Panel with lots of new functionalities - many of them also available through our web-services - which will provide you with an easier, faster, and richer experience.

Control Panel Customers SectionWith this upgrade we are launching a brand new user management system, geared at making our services more flexible to use and easier to share or resell. This means that, from now on, we are making a distinction between our customers and their user accounts. As a customer, you are granted a new, separate set of credentials which enables you to create and manage your user accounts, view and order credits and make payments. These customer credentials provide access to the new 'User Management' section of the Control Panel. For more details, please read this post.

Control Panel Users SectionAlso added are advanced analytics layers, allowing you to gain more insight into your traffic consumption and making it easier to discover and access the metrics important to enterprise-level users. They provide information about the origin of your end-users and their downloading or streaming behaviour. Or about the number of concurrent live users measured at regular intervals - one of of our most frequently requested features. These advanced statistics are available as part of our standard or custom HTML reports. They are also integrated in the Control Panel's 'Media Monitoring' section which now has a redesigned user interface, complete with dynamic motion charts.

Other features include the ability of users to grant third-party access to CDN directories or statistics reports, improvements to the Control Panel's 'Media Management' section, and tools to calculate the cost of your traffic consumption or to estimate your future traffic costs.

You can get a first glance at the new Control Panel by looking at some screenshots of the different sections. If you would like further information about our services or would like to try them out, please don't hesitate to contact Rambla support.
